Websites, software, Discord bots and the tools that bring them together. I design them, build them and usually end up running them too.
Currently building Orpheus and working as CMO at Instant Press.
Orpheus is a music bot I've built and developed from the ground up. It includes the bot itself, audio infrastructure, website, dashboard and everything that keeps it running.
I handle the development, infrastructure and day-to-day operation. Features like 24/7 playback, lyrics and audio filters are available for free.
I built Overlay Studio to make running esports broadcasts easier. It brings overlay design and broadcast controls into one place, letting you manage teams, scores, brackets, casters, timers and ad breaks.
Everything updates on stream in real time. It was put to the test during a 3v3 tournament broadcast on 24 October.

A bilingual website built for a design studio on Montreal's South Shore. I designed and developed the site in both French and English, replacing their previous WordPress.com setup.
The site includes a CMS that lets the founder manage content, update pages and publish work independently. The migration was completed without disrupting their email.

A portfolio website for an esports designer. I rebuilt the site from scratch, moving it away from a template-based builder and giving her full control over her content.
She can update her projects and portfolio without touching code. Particular attention went into preserving the quality of her artwork, including its original dithered textures.
A Windows utility for removing preinstalled apps, advertisements and unnecessary background components from Windows 11.
I built it with transparency in mind. Every proposed change is shown before it's applied, and an undo script is generated so changes can be reversed. The website documents what the software actually does, with tests to keep those claims honest.

I build systems that take repetitive work out of the equation. Content workflows, publishing, internal tools and integrations that help businesses operate more efficiently.

When existing software doesn't quite do the job, I build something that does. Dashboards, desktop applications, broadcast tools and other custom systems.

I also work on the visual side of projects, including brand identities, design systems, brand guides and presentation decks.

A bit about me.
I'm Glex, an independent developer and digital builder from Ireland.
I started out in the Web3 and gaming communities, where I got involved in building products, managing communities and figuring out how things work behind the scenes.
Over time, that grew into a mix of development, design, infrastructure and marketing. I've worked on everything from Discord bots and community platforms to websites, desktop software and live broadcast tools.
I enjoy taking an idea, working out how to make it happen and seeing it through to something people can actually use.
I currently develop and operate Orpheus alongside my role as CMO at Instant Press.
